The focus on this key figure: 24/7. When possible, machines should operate uninterrupted 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This objective can only be achieved with CAM programming that’s even faster than manufacturing – because programming offices are usually staffed for only eight hours a day and five days a week. High software performance is just as important as CAD/CAM automation, as is the ability to move computationally intensive processes to the background.
With this in mind, we focused on improving the software’s performance in Tebis 4.1 Release 4: This includes NC calculation, complete machine simulation, interactive activities like loading the machine, adjusting setups, working with process libraries, CAD triangulation and much more... We parallelized processes, optimized access, removed redundancies and eliminated superfluous and obsolete program code.
The result: Not only is Tebis 4.1 Release 4 just as fast as Tebis 4.0 Release 9 – it’s up to four times faster in certain areas.
Current examples: V4.1 R4 vs. V4.0 R9

Important notes for optimal performance
Here's how you can benefit the most.
Use up-to-date hardware
Modern software works best with high-performance hardware. We recommend that you have at least 64 gigabytes of RAM, a fast SSD hard drive and a multi-core CPU with many cores: for example, an AMD Ryzen 9 5950x or Intel Core i9 12900K.
Be certain that you have the correct graphics card settings!
It may be necessary to adjust the default settings of NVIDIA graphics cards. In the NVIDIA Control Panel, select the "Workstation App – Dynamic Streaming" profile in the 3D settings.
